Stanage Edge, near Hathersage, Peak District

Beautiful, crisp snowy Stanage Edge

What a lovely walk this morning. Worth getting up bright and early for this wonderful scenery. We even got to see the Paragliders circling above the Hope Valley.

We got a great view of Hathersage from the gritstone cliffs of Stanage Edge, which stretches for approximately 4 miles and is 458m at its highest point. We are so lucky to be so close, to be able to enjoy one of the most popular locations in the Peak District National Park for walking, rock climbing and mountain biking.
