Breakfast with a view – Derwent Reservoirs in the Peak District

What a wonderful sunny Easter weekend in the Peak District. The weather has been superb. We started the weekend with a stunning bike ride around the beautiful Derwent Dams. The fishermen were out in force on Ladybower Reservoir.

We set off fairly early, so virtually had the place to ourselves, other than the local squirrels, Canadian geese, ducks and Curlews!

We stopped and ate breakfast al fresco!

We then continued on around Derwent and Howden Dams, and circular ride back to the Ladybower Dam.

We are so lucky that we can be amongst such stunning Peak District scenery within a 15 minute drive of Curlew cottage.
